Top Loading into Vapour Cryogen-free Cryostat (with optional superconducting magnet)


This 'work horse' system is a DRY ICE lemon cryostatTM cryogen free cryostat that surpasses all the specifications of the old orange cryostats. A top loading cryogen free variable temperature system that is capable of reaching a continuous base temperature of 1.4K. Top loading is into static exchange gas. The system uses a simple gas handling system to circulate a volume of 4He gas.

Cryogen-free 3He (with optional superconducting magnet)


A compact cryogen-free ³He system, sample in vacuum,  this lemon cryostatTM  uses a closed cycle cooler with vibration eliminated by a bellows system. A 1K stage allows full condensation of the ³He charge which extends the hold time at a base temperature of <270mK to 70 hours, and gives a fast regeneration time.

20µW Dilution Refrigerator for use in VTIs

Top-loading into the DRY ICE lemon cryostatTM  cryogen free variable temperature cryostat, this system uses the 1K capability of the DRY VTI in order to condense the mixture and continues the cooling process into the millikelvin range
