The cost of lost research

June 2009

ICEoxford® supports other manufactures equipment, as well as its own. We understand the cost of lost research time and the need for fast turnaround, competitively-priced repairs, refurbishments and upgrades. Here are just a few customer comments and recent examples of where we have been able to “help”:

“I really appreciate your efforts on the repair. You saved my research project!”

“ICE repaired our spectroscopy product for less than the original manufacturer quoted just to evaluate it”

Oxford instruments microstat HEOxford instruments microstat HE

“In conclusion, I am very much satisfied with Paul's service and if I face any trouble further, I will definitely contact ICE again”

"Our lab has a 17-year old dilution refrigeration system. In 2008, we decided to have professional repair and refurbishment including small leak check, mixture concentration check and pump refurbishments. Since it is too old, the manufacturer refused to take this job, however, ICE was willing to accept our job and came to the university for a week to perform the work.

I really like how Paul, the engineer, approached the job during a given time in a systematic way. On the first day, he planned a possible scenario of a week, writing down the tasks for each day. I respect his systematic approaches. During his visit, we had to modify the initial plan due to several unexpected occasions. However, overall he managed to repair the major issues of our Kelvinox, which is now in good condition. Moreover, he let me do most of operational work so that he passed along the appropriate handling skills. He also worked on Sat. in order to keep the pace.

In conclusion, I am very much satisfied with Paul's service and if I face any trouble further, I will definitely contact ICE again.

We think in the end that the project has been finished successfully and will consider ICEoxford® as a serious option for any further low temperature equipment work to be carried out in our laboratories”.

Why not take advantage of the summer term and get your equipment reworked, repaired or upgraded? For more information, or to discuss your particular requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us.
