DRY ICE 1.5K 85mm Cryostat
The ICEoxford DRY ICE 1.5K 85mm cryostat enables users to perform experiments in temperature ranges between 1.3K and 800K. Additional 3He and Dilution fridge inserts are available to achieve lower temperatures of 280mK and 10mK respectively.
The cryostat is a closed-loop system and offers excellent temperature stability, fast cooldown times, low vibration at sample space, and a choice of magnets to suit the experimenter’s field of research.
The system utilises GM cryo-cooler technology. For reduced vibrations, the cryo-cooler sits supported within a sock that separates the cold-head from the cryostat. ICEoxford has also developed other methods to further reduce vibration levels.
Our patented Dual-Cool technology is included which allows the system to switch between static and dynamic exchange gas mode for sample cooling. This gives the benefit of faster sample cooldown, whilst minimising blockages during long-term operation.
High field superconducting magnets are designed to be an integral part of these systems and we offer a wide range of solenoid, split-pair, and vector rotate magnets up to 18 Tesla.
The probe can be customised to include up to 52 Cu Ni Coax Lines plus sample manipulation and rotation can be achieved using our range of sample holders and chip carriers.
