Press Release - 28th February 2012 Prime Minister David Cameron at ICE

The Prime Minister David Cameron received a warm welcome at ICEoxford today (Friday 24th February 2012) when he arrived to discuss government help for small businesses entering the Chinese market.

ICEoxford, who design and manufacture ultra-low temperature equipment for the cryogenic research community, has identified a demand in China for their specialist products.  They were interested to hear from the PM what the Government is doing to help small businesses wanting to increase exports.  Chris Busby, ICEoxfords’ Managing Director, commented, “the market for cryogenic products in China is huge and as a growing organisation we need some help from the government to increase our business there.”

The Prime Minister spent an hour at ICEoxford looking around the firm’s manufacturing plant and meeting the team of engineers and staff. Chris Busby added, ”Mr Cameron was particularly interested to hear about how we have grown and the efforts made to enter this new market, which included attending a trade exhibition and finding an agent.”
