Root Pump

The root pump is suited to applications that require high pumping speeds in pressures in the region of 0.01milli bar to 10 milli bar. This pump must always be backed up by another pump which can deliver against a high-pressure differential to atmospheric pressure. 

By operating at relatively low pressures, the root pump is not exposed to high concentrations of corrosive process media which makes it highly reliable.
