ICEoxford is celebrating winning the Small Business award in the West Oxfordshire Business Awards 2012, which was presented at a gala dinner in front of 260 other business leaders on 16th March.

The judges were looking for a business with less than 25 employees that had a vision for the next 3-5 years and a management with the ability to drive the business forward and, with entries to the Awards up by 35% on last year, the judges admitted they “found the task of selecting the finalists challenging”.

Chris Busby, MD, and Paul Kelly, Director of Technology of ICEoxford received the Small Business trophy and certificate at an event attended by David Cameron, the local MP and Prime Minister. Chris commented, ”We are delighted to have won this Award, which is in recognition of the hard work and effort the whole ICEoxford team puts in day to day. It also demonstrates that our strategy and plans for growth are producing all round business success.”

It was the first time that ICEoxford, who design and manufacture ultra-low temperature equipment for the cryogenic research community, had entered the West Oxfordshire Business Awards. Chris adds,”Winning this Award has been very motivational for the staff and we plan to make the most of it with our clients across the world.”
