ICE System runs continuously for 10 years - 2021

In August 2010, ICE installed a WET Dilution Insert alongside a 13 Tesla magnet at the University of Augsburg, marking a significant milestone in supporting advanced low-temperature research.

More than a decade later, the system remains in daily use by Professor Philipp Gegenwart and his team, continuing to deliver reliable, high-performance results. Its longevity is a testament to the quality of the technology and the strength of the collaboration between ICE and the University.
